Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the very first woman ever to win two CrossFit Games. Her second place was both in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and a media star. The media has praised her for being the sole woman who has ever won two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. Also, she is known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised in Iceland's Reykjavik area along with her parents and siblings. She enjoyed playing sports and began working out at the age of five. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in 2009. The performance she showed was impressive in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. She's 5' 7" tall and weighs about 67 kg. Annie began CrossFit Training in California in the year 2009. Annie was able to do well during the first few matches. She finished amongst in the top 10 among over 70. But she did not win an award and ended the tournament in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's coaching she won the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. After one year full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performances brought her the honor of being named. Annie also won in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to win twice in CrossFit Games at once. Additionally, in 2014 Annie won a Silver Medal and, most recently in 2021 she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face for numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration as well as Sidekick Yerbae. Aside from that, she has a self-titled Youtube channel which has around a thousand followers where her workout diet videos, family and travel vlogs are uploaded.
